Cannabis Bulletin
April 1, 2020
This bulletin is to advise all applicants for a cannabis licence and other interested stakeholders of an important amendment to the Objections to an Application policy.
Effective April 6, 2020, Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) is reducing the amount of time an objection to a cannabis licence application may be filed from 21 days to seven days.
The amended policies are located in Section 2.4 of the Retail Cannabis Store Handbook.
The handbook may be accessed on AGLC’s website at aglc.ca.
Please familiarize yourself with the amended policies and ensure affected staff are notified of this change.
If you have any questions, please contact AGLC’s Compliance Branch at inspections.mailbox@aglc.ca.
