As vlts become available you will be contacted to discuss next steps. The remainder of the requirements necessary to operate vlts will be sent at that time. Estimated timelines will vary based on availability.
If you do not have a Class ‘A’ Minors Prohibited liquor licence, please contact the licensing office in your area.
If you are taking over a location with 10 vlts or less and wish to continue operating them, you must complete and submit a:

AGLC will review the request and contact you at the number provided on the form to discuss the next steps. The remainder of the requirements necessary to operate vlts will be sent at that time. To complete the full process, please allow up to 4 weeks minimum.
You must also contact a Liquor Licensing branch in your area to apply for a liquor licence.
A location with 15+ vlts is called a Gaming Entertainment Centre (GEC). These are destination gaming facilities that provide enhanced facility standards and features.
All GEC applicants must go through a thorough Due Diligence investigation process that may take up to six (6) months.

A “renovation” means the physical improvement to your location that may or may not involve structural changes (i.e. painting, carpet laying, construction, etc.).

A “relocation” means the permanent, physical movement of vlts and/or Supplied Equipment from their current location within the premises to a new location within the same premises.
A “temporary relocation” means the short-term movement of vlts and/or Supplied Equipment to allow for physical improvements such as painting or carpet laying.
