Video Lottery Terminal Bulletin

This bulletin is to advise all video lottery terminal retailers and gaming entertainment centres of IMPORTANT AMENDMENTS to the Liquor Licensee Handbook (LLH). The following policy is effective February 21, 2024.
- AGLC is committed to reviewing policies to meet the needs of stakeholders, while maintaining an effective regulatory environment. As a result, the following policy amendments have been made to Section 10.6 of the LLH:
- Subsection 10.6.1, has been amended to accommodate opportunities to responsibly grow the distributed network of VLTs. This change will allow AGLC to respond more effectively to market demand and provide new business opportunities for retailers.
The amended Liquor Licensee Handbook may be accessed on AGLC's website. Additional information regarding AGLC's commitment to a modern regulatory environment that supports consumer choice, innovation and economic growth can be found on AGLC's website at aglc.ca/modernization.
Please familiarize yourself with the amended policies, update your Liquor Licensee Handbook as required, and ensure all affected staff are notified of the new requirement(s).
